During the Presidency of George Bush, he was known never to renege on a decision he had earlier taken because it was often assumed to be well thought out. In Relationship Management, this can be counter productive. A professional in the workplace should be able to reverse his/herself when it is observed that a superior opinion has arisen. Overly sticking to your guns can gun down the tempo of progress in your team. Reversing when need be is not adverse.
