ACCEPT
If giving is the cake of workplace relationships, then accepting is the icing.
Refusing to accept a gift seldom draws the giver closer.
Accepting is a sign of solidarity.
Accept a smile by smiling back, accept a handshake by extending yours too.
Accept an offer to be assisted.
When you accept even gifts you do not need, you validate the giver and create an opportunity to share with someone who needs it.
Rejection saddens where acceptance gladdens.
Nevertheless, know when, how and what is worth accepting.
